Hello all, My name is Elliot Johnson, first time posting. Problem: Can't save documents. Possible solutions: Lost for words. Error Message: "Error while saving Untitled1: Wrong parameter. The operation was started under an invalid parameter." Misc information: FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE CVS has been run and all ports up to date on Dec 08, 2002 before the installation of Openoffice. make install for openoffice. install-user (logged in as a user, not root). All went very well. JDK 131 environment present. Whether it is writer, calc, what have you... Saving documents seems to be a challenge. The first problem occurs when the save button is pressed: -/usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.0/work does not exist. Tried to save a file elsewhere: -Write error And subsequently the program crashes. No problem. Created the directory. No more error when I press the save button. Regardless of save location: -Error saving the document Untitled1: Wrong parameter. The operation was started under an invalid parameter. Click OK. Program crashes and dumps a core file, several .sav files and several .tmp files in ~/. I have found several sites which describe exactly the same problem in Suse & Mandrake. No reports found for FreeBSD yet. Have not found any possible solutions as of yet. Any input greatly appreciated. Keep up the great list guys. -elliotj To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-openoffice" in the body of the message
