Hi,

Ok, so decided to pull the 2G disk out, and RAID 5 all the
4G's (3 of them). That went fine. Initialized...Fine... Boot FreeBSD..
Fine....Partition (Auto).... Fine.... newfs..... Not so good. It failed.

	The debug shows :

Warning: Block size restricts cylinders per group to 94.
/dev/mlxd0a:	262144 sectors in 64 cylinders of 1 tracks, 4096
	128.0MB in 1 cyl group (94 c/g, 188.00MB/g, 16256 i/g)
super-block backups (for fsck -b #) at:
mlx0: controller wedged (not taking commands)
mlx0: controller wedged (not taking commands)
mlxd0: drive offline
write error: 1408
newfs: wtfs - writecombine: Input/output error

The Message box shows "Unable to make new root filesystem on
/dev/mlxd0a! Command returned status 36"

Any ideas where to go from here?! Unless I make headway soon,
I think this might be a lost cause.

		Thanks, Tuc/TTSG Internet Services, Inc.
