Hello bugbusters, PR kern/53245 was filed June 11 and references an email sent March 31, but hasn't been assigned yet. It covers a panic during boot in the ida(4) driver, used by Compaq smart disk arrays. Nearly all ProLiant servers are equipped with such an array, none of which can be booted on FreeBSD 5 as of yet. It would be great if this bug could be sorted out. References containing more debug information: << problem updating from 4.7 Stable do 5.0 Current >> http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-current/2003-March/000155.html << Repeatable panic at boot with ida(4) >> http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-current/2003-June/004852.html Could you please assign this bug? TIA, Roderick
