Hi, after unsuccessful attempts lasting several days to get work lucent winmodem on my old toshiba satellite s1730 under freebsd 5.1 : (message: :ltmdm0: <Lucent Winmodem> port 0x1400-0x14ff,0x1080-0x1087 mem 0xfc011000-0xfc0110ff irq 10 at device 16.0 on pci0 :ltmdm0: could not map ioport. :device_probe_and_attach: ltmdm0 attach returned 6 ) Now I decided to buy a PC-Card modem. Xircom RealPort™ Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56 would fit. On 5.1 hardware notes page I can found info only about 'Xircom CreditCard adapters' and RealPort+modem(Ethernet part) . I'm newbie with hardware+freebsd. Has anybody experiences with this PC-Card? Here some venders description for this card: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3437594676&category=3710 Thanks in advance Andrei Martchouk
