 This still fails on 5.1-RELEASE, but will boot with ACPI disabled.

 When booting with ACPI enabled, the last thing I see is "Timecounters tick
 every 10.000 msec".

 With it disabled:

 Timecounters tick every 10.000 msec
 ata0-slave: timeout waiting for interrupt
 ata0-slave: ATA identify failed
 acd0: CDROM <Compaq CRD-8402B> at ata0-master PIO4
 Waiting 15 seconds for SCSI devices to settle

 If anyone would like to see the results of acpidump or try anything, please
 let me know.
