(Hoping I've found the right place to ask) On: FreeBSD jerusalem.litteratus.org 6.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 6.0-CURRENT #0: Mon Dec 13 15:17:52 EST 2004 huff@jerusalem.litteratus.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/JERUSALEM i386 I'm having trouble with www/mozilla-devel (mozilla-1.8a6_2 as of last night), at least four problens which may or may not be related. 1) when compiling, setting the DEBUG [Enable debugging (i.e. gdb) support] option causes the build to stop (reliably) with: ../../../../coreconf/nsinstall/FreeBSD6.0_DBG.OBJ/nsinstall -R -m 775 FreeBSD6.0_DBG.OBJ/mangle /usr/ports/www/mozilla-devel/work/mozilla/dist/bin gmake[4]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla-devel/work/mozilla/security/nss/cmd/shlibsign/mangle' FreeBSD6.0_DBG.OBJ/shlibsign -v -i /usr/ports/www/mozilla-devel/work/mozilla/dist/lib/libsoftokn3.so Assertion failure: -1 != pt_book.minPrio, at ptthread.c:846 Abort trap (core dumped) gmake[3]: *** [/usr/ports/www/mozilla-devel/work/mozilla/dist/lib/libsoftokn3.chk] Error 134 gmake[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla-devel/work/mozilla/security/nss/cmd/shlibsign' gmake[2]: *** [libs] Error 2 gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla-devel/work/mozilla/security/manager' gmake[1]: *** [tier_50] Error 2 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla-devel/work/mozilla' gmake: *** [default] Error 2 *** Error code 2 It has been suggested this is a thread issue; but as far as I can tell my threading stuff is in order. (libmap.conf is appended) If I leave that option off, the build completes. However: 2) If I attempt to open a file using Ctl-O, any movement of the slider for the file-list (far right of the window) crashes Mozilla. 3) Any attempt to print does the same. This includes "save to file". 4) As of 1.8a[456] I can no longer install the Preferfences Toolbar (v3.0) add-on. The installation process semms to run (I get the "Installation completed" window) but when the browser is restarted it isn't there.
