FWIW, our rc.d in HEAD has the following problems:

rcorder: Circular dependency on provision `mountcritremote' in file `newsyslog'.
rcorder: Circular dependency on provision `mountcritremote' in file `syslogd'.

rcorder is started from rc with its stderr sent to /dev/null, so
these might have stayed unnoticed for a while.  Cannot tell now
if it is possible to resolve them.
