I would like to build a hardware raid box that operated in FC target mode and
uses cheap SATA disks in a raid array.

I'm thinking a PC164LX would be good for the task.

Any recommendations for multichannel SATA controlers? Preferably 4+ channels
on a single card.

The QLogic 2100 is reported to operate in FC Target mode, can anyone confirm this?

Thanks!!

Here's a hint: it's not the small and fast one." --Linus
