Hi, It's my first time installing mysql on freebsd. I installed it through ports #/usr/ports/databases/mysql41-server/ make install Runs through the installation process and completes error free. Although I can't seem to find the script that is suppose to start the DB server (under linux it is mysqld) and I've googled abit and apparently under freebsd it should be /usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server.sh to start it. But I have none of the above mentioned scripts I'm running FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE-p1 FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE-p1 Any Ideas on how to start the db server?
