Dear Gentlemen, I plan to setup a simple, unexpensive wireless router based on FreeBSD 8.1, but as I managed to find out, there is no support for Realtek RTL8185L chip, which is part of the server's hardware to be used. I wouldn't like to move from FreeBSD to Linux (which supports it), or even buy another wireless NIC. So I ask: Are there plans to support it any time soon, or some work in progress on the matter? Although I am not a programmer, I would gladly help to try alpha or beta drivers, or whatever I could do to improve RTL8185L driver development under FreeBSD. Thanks for your attention. Regards.
