Dear list: I want to thanks in public to Jason Bacon that in few hours ported the last version of Praat (an excellent program for phonetics and bio-acoustic) to FreeBSD. The software work in my laptop much better that the version of Debian GNU Linux (my previous operating system). This is the first time that I contact with a programmer and this has been incredible. I am absolutely surprised by the fast and the kind response of this person. Really the FreeBSD community is great. Now I can continue with my bioacoustic research. Excellent !!! I send a copy of this mail to Paul Boersma, one of the authors of this excellent software.
