Any chance you could try adding code above or similar please ?

I got reminded of it 'cos I'm just about to report another current kernel bug,
& no svn rev no. I can point to for the majority of svn direct users.

( If not, my fallback would be to stop building kernels from src-cur
  & build them from my own export from svn-cur ).
