% sudo pkg install -R fontconfig
generates

Fontconfig 2.13.1 generated .uuid files in the fonts directory
which where not properly registered to the packages.
To clean them up, please execute the following command:
find %%LOCALBASE%%/share/fonts -type f -name .uuid
and delete the files at your discretion.
But this is a server that does not run X11 (fontconfig must be a
dependency).
% ls /usr/local/share/fonts /usr/local/lib/X11/fonts
ls: /usr/local/lib/X11/fonts: No such file or directory
ls: /usr/local/share/fonts: No such file or directory
