I am sorry but the problem is not solved, at least for stable/13 (abd116de1=
d4).
Today one of my server for two hours was not able to serve any www page. I =
had
an open ssh connection and was able to call 'sync'. After that everything
returns to normal behavior.

When the server was not able to respond to www requests I saw that 'systat
-vmstat 1' reports 100% activity for two disks (mirror/gm0s1a). Now I am
changing soft updated journaling to only soft updates.
