--0000000000005d2129062ae319cb Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" I will need a reference to properly grep. The assumption is it exists in source kernel. Lower end machines of RISC architecture need the increased kernel hertz due to latency lag issues. Pre-preparing mentally and on other machines. At 2500 hertz the system goes away. There are other system control settings yet these do not deal with lag. Also, it is a working hypothesis that a dedicated machine for simple and certain tasks would work better with an increased kernel rate. Tickless and real time environments may be set up to do a comparative analysis. Query: when was the last time anyone set up a machine with a kernel rate of 2500 or more and the machine remained stable with a patch? --0000000000005d2129062ae319cb Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I will need a reference to properly grep.
