To achieve full functionality, support for = Multicast is required for IPTV on a bridge with both Ethernet and Wi-Fi = cards. This can also be done with an external router, such as the TP-LINK = Archer AX23 with OpenWRT. However, this setup introduces double NAT = translation, and the TP-LINK device struggles down during Multicast = handling for IPTV. It often stops working properly, and other services= no longer function. Is there any = estimate timeline when support for HOSTAP mode will be implemented in the = driver. The iwlwifi supports hostap only for 11a and with that is a bit = special.
