Hi, I am trying to boot a FreeBSD 9.3 dvd1/memstick/VM raw disk image from archive.f.o under recent bhyve and none works. Console says, e.g., BdsDxe: failed to load Boot0001 "UEFI BHYVE SATA DVD ROM BHYVE-D583-D235-1E01" from PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Sata(0x0,0xFFFF,0x0): Not Found BdsDxe: failed to load Boot0002 "UEFI BHYVE SATA DISK BHYVE-9BBB-AAEB-89C8" from PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)/Sata(0x0,0xFFFF,0x0): Not Found and then depending on what is setup tries PXE or goes straight to the EFI shell. The empty disk image/memstick/dvd1 are there and the path is correct like: pci.0.1.0.device=ahci pci.0.1.0.port.0.type=cd pci.0.1.0.port.0.path=/home/test/BHYVE-FreeBSD-9.3/FreeBSD-9.3-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1.iso similar for type=hd (which is an empty disk to install unto). I found a CSM.fd still on an old installation, but that made no difference either. Anyone any hints? /bz -- Bjoern A. Zeeb r15:7home | help
