https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=286908 --- Comment #11 from Gunther Nikl <gnikl@justmail.de> --- (In reply to Charlie Li from comment #6) > 7.1.2 v1 There should be a note that this requires a newer setuptools-scm to found in bug #286779. I forced use of 8.0.4 as present in ports and the build succeeded. However I wonder my mercurial 7.1 demands 8.1.0. (In reply to Sergey A. Osokin from comment #10) > I do believe that [rustification] should be a separate port. I disagree. At least as a start an option for custom builds would be very useful IMHO. > Details could be found here Thanks for these pointers. I was aware of them, but they did not help me much. I don't have experience with manual cargo, thus I had preferred to get some help for use of the ports framework with hints where to make modifications. That said I did a build with rust support in $WRKSRC using direct gmake invocation. This created a shared library but I am clueless how this is used. I also build rhg from within the $WRKSRC which downloaded all crates to $HOME/.cargo. How can I leverage the ports framework for the crates? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
