OK, I took a bit long but eventually managed to get back to this: with
the patch, the package building seems to be working fine still, I even
tried "make package FORMATS=txt pdf" and it did the right thing. Was
this the double definition issue that you (Tom) mentioned above?

If not, can you tell me what else I should test?
