After "pkg upgrade firefox" from 44.0,1 to 44.0.2,1, firefox won't run. It exits with: /usr/local/lib/gio/modules/libgiofam.so: Undefined symbol "g_local_directory_monitor_get_type" pkg says libgiofam.so is owned by package gio-fam-backend. gio-fam-backend version: 2.28.8_1 # pkg query %rn gio-fam-backend xf86-video-radeonhd # pkg query %rn xf86-video-radeonhd # pkg query %v xf86-video-radeonhd 1.3.0_5 Is xf86-video-radeonhd something previously used by xorg-drivers but now not? ls -lu of its driver files indicates they haven't been accessed in a couple of months, even though I just rebooted the system to ensure the problem wasn't some kind of consistency error. All pieces were installed from pkg repository packages, not from ports. freebsd-version: 10.2-RELEASE-p12 uname -a: FreeBSD {host} 10.2-RELEASE-p9 FreeBSD 10.2-RELEASE-p9 #0: Thu Jan 14 01:32:46 UTC 2016 root@amd64-builder.daemonology.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64 Firefox 44.0,1 ran OK just before the pkg upgrade to 44.0.2,1. Thanks, -WBE
