When I tried to delete the directory, I got a message that it couldn't be deleted because the directory wasn't empty. A 'dir' command revealed only a '.' and '..' ...(you KNOW what's coming)... so I deleted them. My father was a thoughtful, patient man -- he had current backups; and I'm alive to tell the story.
