scsi -f /dev/rsd0.ctl -r
^^^^^^^^^^^^^_____ This must be a device that has been
successfully probed at boot time. Otherwise,
you've got a chicken-and-egg problem.
Alas, it doesn't work on all controllers. Some of them consistently
hang the entire system. :-(
