No, aue, rue and other's implement vendor-specific protocols, while this one implements generic one described in the USB specs. Yet, they are pretty close to each other, so that merging them all into a single mega-driver (like the one Linux has) certainly makes sense in the long run. 80% (if not more) of the code in them is the same. -Maxim
