It sounds like you need something like vpopmail. It will handle as many virtual domains and users as you can throw at it, requiring only a single unix user account. They actually reccomend that you set up every domain as a virtual domain. Read up on it at http://www.inter7.com/vpopmail. -- Troy Settle Pulaski Networks 540.994.4254 ** -----Original Message----- ** From: owner-freebsd-isp@FreeBSD.ORG ** [mailto:owner-freebsd-isp@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Sam Wun ** Sent: Thursday, October 05, 2000 9:45 PM ** Cc: freebsd-isp@freebsd.org ** Subject: Virtual user with ACME webmail. ** ** ** Hi, ** ** Does anyone know how to create virtual user for acme webmail? ** I have created some vritual domain names in my freebsd box. ** I have it tested ** using netscape browser, it works great, but don't kow how to ** create a virtual ** ** user without actually creating a unix account for them. ** ** Thanks ** Sam. ** ** ** ** ** ** To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org ** with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message ** ** To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
