The following reply was made to PR ports/38387; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Vivek Khera <khera@kcilink.com> To: Alan E <alane@geeksrus.net> Cc: FreeBSD-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Re: ports/38387: kdebase3 has extra stuff in pkg-plist Date: Tue, 21 May 2002 16:14:42 -0400 >>>>> "AE" == Alan E <Alan> writes: AE> Those files are indeed present in kdebase-3.0_1. This was a brand new FreeBSD 4.5-REL machine with a few ports: jove and XFree86-3 both installed from a freshly cvsup'd ports tree, and the portupgrade utility. The next command was to "portinstall -vp kde" so if there's something old or missing, it is KDE's fault for not specifying it properly. If it requires XFree86 4.x, then it should say so. There is no freetype or freetype2 library installed at all, so that could be a missing dependency that causes it to fail.
