It also supports booting into a "livefs" based rescue mode. This should be all you need if you can burn and use DVD-sized media. disc1 This contains the base FreeBSD operating system. There are no pre-built packages. and a bit further: FreeBSD 10.2-RELEASE may be downloaded via ftp from the following site: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/ISO-IMAGES/10.2/ So, all you need to do to create a live CD is burn ISO file.
