Your ACPI tables, assuming they exist, are somewhere we're not looking for
them yet. 8(

Can you try:

# hexdump /dev/mem | grep "RSD PTR"

and if it finds anything (the string should be left-aligned on the line)
send me the line it outputs... (this will take a while).
