FreeBSD As long as you are only using a single processor you should go with 2.1.7 or 2.2.1. I wouldn't suggest running production machines on 3.0 without a compelling reason. > And would we hav any problems going back to 2.2 stable if we had to? You'll have to recompile all of your programs, rm the existing [uw]tmp files and make sure your user's logins are only 8 characters max.
