Thanks, Mario, but when I add this line,

-s 9,virtio-9p,sharename=/media \

I get the following error message,

pci slot 9:0: unknown device "virtio-9p"

I read about shared folders earlier while looking for a solution and concluded FreeBSD doesn't support it (yet).
