Yes... I kind of thought that 96KB/sec was an interesting number myself... So I contacted the guru in charge of my uplink and he seems to think there is a misconfiguration on his end. Maximum bandwidth has always been a non-issue with my ISP... They have considerably more than they use, and I'm on a leased line directly to their downtown POP in my city, here, on a dedicated switch. (My router, plus two 1.5ms hops to outside network... Pretty low-latency setup.. Barely a ms or two over their own Ethernet co-lo times). So, I'm now in the process of getting what I paid for :-) > > Good luck, > > Jerry Thanks, Jerry (and all others who replied). You put a little more fuel in my fire. (Wasn't much of a fire... I says "D--, I think I'm only getting about 96K a second here" and he says "That's funny, Ry.. You should get a lot more than that... I'll check into it" and I says "Thanks" :-) Virtually yours, - Ryan -- Ryan Thompson <ryan@sasknow.com> Systems Administrator, Accounts Phone: +1 (306) 664-1161 SaskNow Technologies http://www.sasknow.com #106-380 3120 8th St E Saskatoon, SK S7H 0W2 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-net" in the body of the message
