Hi, I just installed 4.0-20000112-SNAP. Everything appears to be working fine so far (no softupdates), with the exception of one bug which I started to look at and posted about 2 months ago or so... Basically, rlogin randomly exits on signal 6. From messages: Jan 14 13:28:07 magenta /kernel: pid 282 (rlogin), uid 227: exited on signal 6 Jan 14 13:46:12 magenta /kernel: pid 321 (rlogin), uid 227: exited on signal 6 I have debugged it enough to say that the bug is not in the rlogin code, but in a library routine. If no-one has any clues concerning this I guess I'll start rebuilding the libraries until I can pin-point the failure. Thanks! John -- John W.
