Unfortunately, we (re@) all collectively dropped the ball on this, and didn't follow-up for about a week. so@ and re@ have agreed that given the elapsed time plus the fact of an intervening security fix, it was just better to leave the commit in, rather than back it out. We'll try to be more vigilant in the future.
