I just upgraded a Toshiba laptop from 2.2-960801-SNAP to 2.2-ALPHA and
immediately two problems come to light:
1. It trashed my password file (i.e. replaced it with the stock distribution)
2. ps didn't get replaced, and the old one complains:
ps: proc size mismatch (9792 total, 632 chunks)
