Is anyone updating the FreeBSD install procedures in the handbook?
The handbook assumes that the installation is being done from a CDROM or
via anonymous ftp, and completely ignores a number of important steps
needed when installing using the other methods. For that matter, the
INSTALL.TXT needs to be merged with the handbook.
If no one else is doing it, I'll volunteer to mangle the SGML, but
only if there's a reasonable chance of my changes actually making it
into the handbook.
