I just caught up on reading the PR and saw someone else already tried it as well. From what I read the nv.diff patch and another (sata_phy_reset.diff) was applied to the CURRENT branch. If I understand correctly, Steven Wallace has tried this without success. While I have this machine available for testing is there anything else someone would like to try ? If your busy let me know how much time you'll need. I am going to dual boot two 6.2 versions of FreeBSD... one to use regularly and one for helping with this PR. Ultimately it would be great if I could download a bootable CD when a patch is ready for testing, although I understand if this is asking too much. Thanks.
