Try muting each of the sound sources/inputs in turn.
(Sorry, I don't personally know how to do this in FBSD.
I only use sound when running Windows.)

Its probably RF noise that's getting picked up by the external
mic input, so if you disable or mute the mic input, the
hum will go away.
