I have installed openldap-1.2.11_1 from the ports collection. It is quite
stable and runs very well. There is one large problem with the port
though, when the server is rebooted slapd starts up just fine, but for
some reason either all or almost all the db files in
/var/run/openldap-ldbm are gone. It seems like this has something to do
with the rc.shutdown script. It calls the /usr/local/etc/rc.d/slapd.sh
script and passes it a "stop". This _should_ shutdown slapd cleanly,
because when I run the slapd.sh script myself it shuts it down
cleanly. What is wrong here?
