In one of your post in January, you said that you had a Western Digital WD2000BB-00DAA0. I'm looking for a working WD drive with that number. I've got one that has a bad controller card and I've been looking for a drive that has a card identical to mine so I can get my data off the platters. I'm looking for one with the exact number. I bought a WD2000BB but the ending numbers were difference and, thus, so are the controller cards. I'm looking for a 0DAA0 at the end of the "BB". I also know for a fact that the data is still in tack because the recovery people told be it was. They told me the problem is the controller card but I'm not about to pay the price they want to recover my data. I could buy a car for that kinda money. I'd rather by a cheap working drive and take my chances at my own recovery. If you have the match for me, will you sell your drive? I'll pay top dollar if it works!
