Right now - I don't care > I just want ELF, not a.out. You shouldn't need to specify a path for the libraries in any of the cases (aout/elf, static/dynamic) unless you need to put the libraries in a special place. What is the perl build doing when it "tries quite hard to find libraries to link against"? Is it somehow trying to second guess what the build environment is? -- John Birrell - jb@cimlogic.com.au; jb@freebsd.org http://www.cimlogic.com.au/ CIMlogic Pty Ltd, GPO Box 117A, Melbourne Vic 3001, Australia +61 418 353 137 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
