Dear Matthew
That is because cc is used for linking instead of c++,
go to the Makefile in glxinfo and change the line,
with "LINKFORTARGET" or "LINKER" (don't have the makefile
any more, so look for the actual line) from $CC to
$CPP and there you go.

^^ this is wrong becaue lGLU is a CPP lib
