In FreeBSD - sendmail isn't an optional package that you can uninstall. It's part of the base system. You could simply remove the different pieces if you wanted to... (which I believe would be /usr/sbin/sendmail, /usr/bin/mailq, /etc/sendmail.cf and perhaps some others... but I don't know exactly.) These aren't all separate files, but in actuality the same file.
