The following reply was made to PR kern/71280; it has been noted by GNATS. From: "C. Weber" <cwf-ml@arcor.de> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org, joe@tao.org.uk Cc: Subject: Re: kern/71280: [aue] aue0 device (linksys usb100tx) doesn't work in 100basetx, and doesn't reliably select media Date: Fri, 03 Nov 2006 22:12:56 +0100 This is not a foloowup per se, but I see this problem with 6.1-RELEASE-p6. The only difference to the original error description is that when I plug the device in after the system has completed booting, it works normally. Problem occurs only when the device is plugged in while booting. It happens with both cold and warm boot and with both half- and full duplex connection. My hardware is a "Teledat Fast Ethernet USB".
