Damn :-(  I kinda figured that was the case when I first saw the patch.
Oh well.  I've been thinking about building -CURRENT on my laptop for
quite some time (mainly to play with ACPI), but since it's my primary
"workstation", I keep putting it off.  Maybe one of these days I'll
actually get around to doing it :-)
