Instead of giving up at the first try, the system keeps trying for 3 minutes to mount root. If CTRL+C is pressed during this time a mount-root menu will be shown. Else after 3 minutes the mount-root menu will be shown and then a panic will happen like before. - Clean up old mount root hold mechanism which did not work like expected. Is related?
