[-- Attachment #1 --] I am looking at getting a motherboard based on nForce 3 or 4, and I am wondering if the RAID will be usable? I don't mind if I have to use the BIOS to setup/rebuild the array, but I don't want to buy a system I can't use the RIAD for at all. I note from ata-raid.c that there is a meta-data read routine, but no write one - I think this means I can use it after it's been defined, but not rebuilt or create an array in the first place. Any clarification welcome. -- Daniel O'Connor software and network engineer for Genesis Software - http://www.gsoft.com.au "The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them to choose from." -- Andrew Tanenbaum GPG Fingerprint - 5596 B766 97C0 0E94 4347 295E E593 DC20 7B3F CE8C [-- Attachment #2 --] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBD3F3W5ZPcIHs/zowRAj5jAJ9ADAzQYXHVfNT6HZrJzytZW2HSRQCePJeU YYSJU1h0ApreaDiZzOA6uzU= =5EDn -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----help
