Yeah, I'd second that. xpdf doesn't always get formatting right, and Kpdf usually does, at least in my experience. I'd rather use it than a working Acrobat, frankly. I use xpdf on machines where KDE is too large or cumbersome, such as my old Dell Inspiron 3500 laptop (300MHz). - jt
