I hate to be snippy here, but all you have to do is *read* the whole front page of the website at www.freebsd.org ! Maybe add in the fact that installing also includes downloading. How much easier can it be made? Do some reading, follow the links and the instructions there, and you will be rewarded with a powerful system. The handbook and the FAQ will be your friend, as is the help info during the install process itself. There is an amazing amount of material at the website to help you out. If you can't understand what you read, come back here and ask questions of the list, but you will get the best response if you read first.
