I did a column about a year ago on the wonders of BSD sockets vs. TLI, which generated the finest flame I've ever read, from Mike O'Dell, who forcefully put it to me that I had been FAR too even-handed in not consigning TLI to the flames of the darkest pit Hell has to offer. That was just a column, though, not an article. They'd probably love to see one on the subject. I say go for it. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to write it right now because I'm preparing The Collected Ravings of Mr. Protocol for a book publisher. Mike O'Brien
