I am running FreeBSD 2.2.7 on a Pentium computer with=20
ppp and Apache. I have a command in my ppp.linkup=20
file to run a script which ftp's a file up to another server=20
on the web each time a connection is made with my ISP.=20
When the server reboots, I have commands in the /etc/rc.local=20
file to run ppp -auto -alias my_isp and start Apache. Problem=20
is, when the server reboots, ppp and Apache start okay, but the=20
command in my ppp.linkup file does not execute. In other=20
words, my file does not get ftp'ed up to the other server unless=20
I manually login and run the script myself.

When I manually login and run ppp the ppp.linkup file runs=20
the desired script without a problem. It is only when the=20
server reboots and no one is there to login that the ppp.linkup=20
file fails to execute. Anyone have an idea on this?
