Morten:

Do you have data of your own installed on this machine, or have you just tried 
to install FreeBSD?  Also, what hardware do you have, particularly your video 
card?  If you don't have any data of your own installed, the best thing is 
probably just to fdisk and start over.  What to do about XFree86 if/when you 
start over depends on your hardware.
